Constangy is delighted to announce Annan Chen, Samantha Egge, Victoria Okraszewski, Addia Rodriguez and Nicholas Stratton have joined the firm. Each brings unique insight to the firm, bolstering its national presence across multiple practice areas and industries.
Annan joins the San Francisco office, where she supports clients across a variety of industries in complex labor and employment litigation matters involving class actions and single-plaintiff suits. She assists Constangy attorneys in crafting legal strategies that comply with California’s complex labor and employment regulations, conducting legal research, and supporting case preparation. During law school, Annan served as an extern in the District Court for the Northern District of California. She was a student attorney at the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and consistently volunteered at Legal Access Alameda and the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Legal Advice and Referral Clinic. Annan also competed in several moot court and negotiation competitions.
Samantha is a law clerk based in Constangy's Northern New Jersey office whose practice is focused on providing litigation support to clients across a range of industries. Samantha is adept at conducting legal research on employment law issues, analyzing case law, and helping to craft case strategies. She also assists with case preparation, including drafting and reviewing documents and evidence and preparing summaries and timelines. Samantha is well-versed in labor and employment laws and helps research and craft strategies for compliance with state and federal employment laws. Samantha earned her law degree from Rutgers Law School and her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Victoria is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in New York. As a member of our rapid response team, Victoria assists clients respond to a variety of cyberattacks including business email compromises, fraudulent wire transfers and ACH payments, ransomware and other extortionate attacks. In doing so, she helps to deploy the necessary resources, such as digital forensics firms, to contain and remediate incidents. She also regulatory identifies state, federal and contractual consumer and regulatory notification obligations and helps clients comply with them. Prior to joining the Constangy Cyber Team, Victoria provided incident response and data privacy consulting services at another firm, including developing incident response plans and data privacy policies. She earned her law degree from New York Law School, cum laude, and served as an editor on the New York Law School Law Review. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, cum laude, from the University at Albany, State University of New York. Victoria is admitted to practice law in New York and she holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) credential from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Addia is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team, based in Philadelphia. She has substantial experience helping businesses respond to data security incidents and with her experiential insight she guides clients on a daily basis through the incident response process. As a member of our rapid response team, Addia assists clients respond to malicious criminal cyberattacks including business email compromises, ransomware, and other extortion attacks. As part of that process, she helps facilitate responsive resources, such as forensics investigators, threat actor communicators, and network restoration specialists. She also helps clients comply with state, federal, contractual, and industry-specific consumer notification and regulatory reporting obligations, including FERPA, GLBA, and HIPAA. Addia earned her law degree from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where much of her coursework involved banking, corporate finance, and securities law. During law school she served as a Judicial Extern for the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia, a Legal Intern for a data analytics company, and as a Student Counselor for Villanova where she advised and assisted clients on various topics in Entrepreneurship including structuring businesses, drafting contracts, and researching liability, aspects of incorporation and issues pertaining to intellectual property.
Nick is a labor and employment litigator who helps organizations navigate the shifting California employment landscape. Nicholas has defended employers in federal and state courts and administrative agencies in matters involving wrongful termination, breaches of employment agreements, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Nick’s experience includes defending an organization against a breach-of-contract claim as lead trial counsel in a state court bench trial. Nick also helps clients avoid litigation by crafting compliance strategies aligned with California’s complex employment regulations. He drafts personnel policies, employment contracts, and separation agreements and represents employers in administrative hearings before state and federal agencies. Before his legal career, Nick worked as a paralegal for the Bureau des Avocats Internationaux in Haiti to help file suit against the United Nations on behalf of thousands of Haitians who died from cholera introduced by peacekeeping troops. While in law school, Nick also worked with the East Bay Community Law Center to provide free counsel for low-income East Bay residents facing eviction, representing tenants in more than twenty lawsuits in California state court and advising on other housing issues.
