Overview
Addia Rodriguez is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has substantial experience helping businesses respond to data security incidents and with her experiential insight she guides clients on a daily basis through the incident response process. As a member of our rapid response team, Addia assists clients respond to malicious criminal cyberattacks including business email compromises, ransomware, and other extortion attacks. As part of that process, she helps facilitate responsive resources, such as forensics investigators, threat actor communicators, and network restoration specialists. She also helps clients comply with state, federal, contractual, and industry-specific consumer notification and regulatory reporting obligations, including FERPA, GLBA, and HIPAA.
Prior to joining the Constangy Cyber Team, Addia was an associate at a Philadelphia based data privacy and cybersecurity law firm providing incident response services. During that time, she facilitated digital forensics investigations, crisis communications services and compliance with consumer notification and regulatory reporting obligations. Prior to that experience, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Addia earned her law degree from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where much of her coursework involved banking, corporate finance, and securities law. During law school she served as a Judicial Extern for the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia, a Legal Intern for a data analytics company, and as a Student Counselor for Villanova where she advised and assisted clients on various topics in Entrepreneurship including structuring businesses, drafting contracts, and researching liability, aspects of incorporation and issues pertaining to intellectual property.
