Overview

Patrice focuses her practice on labor and employment law. She offers a broad range of services, from strategic advice on traditional labor issues such as collective bargaining, contract management, and handling disputes over representation and unfair labor practices to employment law matters, including discipline and termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and leave management policies. Patrice is skilled at implementing preventative legal strategies, conducting internal investigations, and providing compliance training to help employers mitigate risks.

Patrice adeptly represents organizations in administrative proceedings before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Before joining Constangy, Patrice honed her skills at an Am Law 100 firm and spent over five years in the public sector. In these roles, she provided strategic legal advice to senior leaders in human resources and labor relations, dealing with a spectrum of state and federal laws. Her responsibilities included leading complex arbitration cases and managing legal proceedings across various state agencies, demonstrating her adeptness at navigating intricate legal environments with skill and precision.

Beyond her legal practice, Patrice actively contributes to the legal community. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and is the Immediate Past President of the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys.
