Overview
Steven is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team based in Atlanta, Georgia. As a member of our rapid response team, Steven assists clients in responding to emerging online threats, including ransomware, business email compromises, wire fraud, and other types of cybercrime. He works closely with team members to identify and apply appropriate resources during the incident response process. This involves digital forensics, data mining and network restoration services. He also helps clients comply with state, federal and contractual consumer and regulatory notification obligations.
Before joining the Constangy Cyber Team, Steven provided legal and strategic assessments for compliance in business and technology related matters for clients. These included intellectual property and content protections, and policies pertaining to product and business growth development, risk tolerance, cybersecurity and data privacy. Steven also handled a range of technology and intellectual property transactional matters that included licensing and complex commercial activity. He also is experienced with assisting clients with all phases of litigation and dispute resolution processes in intellectual property.
Steven earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law where he served as Articles Development Editor for the Virginia Sports & Entertainment Law Journal and President of the Virginia Sports Law Society. He is licensed to practice in New York and Washington D.C. Steven earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University.
