Constangy is pleased to announce Matthew Toldero has joined the firm’s Cyber Team as a partner in the Winston-Salem office.

Toldero has demonstrated exceptional leadership in directing incident response to data security events and regulatory investigations, along with developing comprehensive breach response plans. His proficiency in GLBA, HIPAA, CCPA, GDPR, and state privacy regulations has been instrumental in safeguarding the interests of clients and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Noteworthy contributions include successfully managing breach notification for a client impacting over 2.1 million individuals, assisting in the deployment of the Open Pages eGRC Platform at BB&T, and presenting CLEs on breach reporting requirements and data breach notice considerations.

Toldero earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he distinguished himself by receiving the prestigious NC Advocates for Justice Award for Excellence in Litigation. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
