Constangy partner Taren Greenidge presented at Positive Steps NY’s National Black Women’s Equal Pay Day professional development program on Sept. 21.
The program, “The Three C’s of Negotiating My Worth,” focused on confronting the systemic issues that continue to perpetuate pay inequities, how to build confidence to challenge systemic policies and practices, and initiating critical conversations in the workplace.
Greenidge represents employers in a broad facet of employment matters including harassment, discrimination, wage and hour claims, workers’ compensation, leave laws, disability accommodation, policy drafting and client counseling for compliance with federal, state, and local laws. She has represented companies in both state and federal court and before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights and the New York City Commission of Human Rights, New York Department of Labor, and the New Jersey Department of Labor.
