Los Angeles partner Steven Katz comments on the U.S. Supreme Court's recent ruling that airline cargo loaders are exempt from federal arbitration requirements. That designation allows airline cargo and baggage loaders to pursue their employment disputes in court, instead of being forced into private arbitration.
"What stands out to me about this decision is how utterly predictable and ordinary it is, which likely accounts for the fact it was unanimous," Katz said.
