It is with profound sadness that Constangy announces the passing of our esteemed partner and beloved friend, Will Krasnow. Will was not only a highly respected attorney but also a person of steadfast integrity and deep conviction.

“Will was a cherished member of our firm whose contributions were immeasurable. His legal acumen, combined with his genuine warmth, made him an irreplaceable colleague and friend. We will deeply miss him,” said Neil Wasser, chair of the firm’s executive committee.

Dave Kurtz, managing partner of Constangy’s Boston office, reflected on Will’s impact, saying, “Will carved out a larger-than-life presence in our office, and was a true mensch in every sense of the word. He was a brilliant immigration attorney, and took endless pride in changing people’s lives by helping them through the process of legally residing and working in the United States.”

Piyumi Samaratunga, co-chair of Constangy’s Immigration Practice Group, added, “Will, was truly one of a kind. He is amongst the sweetest gentlemen I have had the privilege of knowing. His kindness, softness and caring knew no bounds.”

Will was a distinguished immigration and labor and employment lawyer, bringing years of invaluable experience both in-house, as Assistant Human Resources Counsel for a major corporation, and in private practice. He formed close relationships with clients, offering tailored, effective advice and services in business immigration and labor matters. His expertise spanned hundreds of immigration cases across diverse industries and numerous complex family immigration matters. Will was instrumental in obtaining permanent residency for foreign nationals, securing temporary visas for executives, managers, and employees, and navigating NAFTA employment provisions. His work also extended to defending employee claims and ensuring compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act and related anti-discrimination laws.

Will’s labor and employment knowledge enriched his ability to address the complex intersection of immigration law and employment practices. His achievements earned him multiple recognitions, including being named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer® and receiving the prestigious AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®.

Will earned his undergraduate degree cum laude from Boston University and his law degree from Boston College Law School, where he was a member of the Boston College Law Review and inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif.

Our hearts go out to Will’s family during this difficult time, and we offer them our deepest condolences.

Please join us in remembering Will Krasnow.
