As Brian Flores' discrimination lawsuit against the NFL continues, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has made some harsh comments about his former coach, which may impact the case. Flores' lawsuit centers around allegations that racial discrimination played a role in his firing by the Miami Dolphins and his inability to secure head coaching positions with other teams.

Constangy senior counsel Chris Deubert recently spoke to Front Office Sports on the situation. “From a legal perspective, his comments would support the Dolphins’ argument that there were legitimate, non-discriminatory reasons for his termination," Chris explains. "If the matter proceeded to trial or arbitration, Tua would be an excellent witness for the team. From a public relations perspective, the comments also clearly make Flores look less sympathetic, which may reduce the pressure on the NFL to resolve the matter.”
