Constangy partner and Cyber Team member Lauren Godfrey has received a Presidential Appointment to the American Bar Association Cybersecurity Legal Task Force, representing the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section.
The ABA Cybersecurity Legal Task Force acts as a central hub for cybersecurity initiatives, policy discussions, advocacy efforts, publications, and resources. Consisting of more than 50 members, including representatives from every ABA entity with an interest in cybersecurity issues, the Task Force oversees matters related to how lawyers safeguard their practices, and their clients' confidential information and intellectual property, during a cyberattack. The Task Force also provides resources, including CLE webinars, to help attorneys expand their knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy issues.
