Constangy partner and San Diego office head Guillermo Escobedo will co-chair the 2024 San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association (SDLRLA) Judiciary Reception on Friday, August 23rd.
This highly anticipated annual event brings together attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals from the San Diego area. Every year, this reception celebrates and honors the significant impact of Latino judges on the community. Guillermo has been involved in the event for nearly a decade and may of Constangy's San Diego-based attorneys will also be in attendance.

The San Diego La Raza Lawyer's Association was founded in 1979 and represents over 300 Latino and Latina attorneys in San Diego County. Its purpose is to advance equality, promote diversity within the legal profession, and empower the San Diego Latino legal community through mentorship, scholarships, and advocacy.
Guillermo is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience defending employers in cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage-and-hour claims, and more. He is adept at handling single and multi-plaintiff lawsuits, class actions, and PAGA claims. Guillermo also advises employers on best practices to avoid legal issues, providing training on harassment prevention and effective management. He has been involved with the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association for more than a decade, serving in several roles including board member, vice chair, Mentorship Program co-chair, and Endorsements Committee chair.
