Overview

Seth brings a robust background in labor and employment law, guiding employers through the complexities of litigation and regulatory compliance, particularly in the transportation industry. He excels in defending class and collective actions, frequently addressing challenging issues such as the reclassification of independent contractors, wage and hour disputes including meal/rest periods, exempt status, regular rate issues, and the misuse of credit and investigative reports in hiring practices.

Seth also has extensive experience in the financial services sector, having represented financial institutions in numerous consumer class actions. These cases often pertain to lending and retail banking operations and encompass allegations such as consumer fraud, unfair business practices, breach of contract, and violations of federal and state laws and regulations.

Prior to joining Constangy, Seth honed his legal acumen through positions at multiple distinguished law firms. His journey deepened his proficiency in high-profile litigation and complex regulatory compliance within the field of labor and employment law. Additionally, he served as a clerk for the Honorable Marjorie O.
