Overview
With a sharp focus on aiding employers in understanding and adapting to post-COVID work environments and the legal frameworks surrounding employee accommodations, Jessica provides practical and informed counsel on a spectrum of employment legal issues.
Jessica's practice includes crafting and implementing policies that enhance workplace culture while counseling employers on compliance with the patchwork of state and federal employment laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII, and the Texas Labor Code. Leveraging her knowledge of the ever-changing employment legal landscape, Jessica helps employers stay up to date by providing training to employers and reviewing and revising employee handbooks, internal procedures, record retention policies, and employment agreements. She also provides litigation support and representation in courtrooms, mediations, grievance hearings, and before administrative agencies.
