Overview
Graeme is a member of Constangy’s Cyber Team and is based in the Portland, Oregon area. He joins our incident response team with an extensive background and multifaceted expertise in cybersecurity and project management. After serving eight years in the U.S. Army Special Forces and leading indigenous and U.S. personnel in combat operations, Graeme continued his Special Forces service as an Operational Planner, Red Team Lead and Threat Intelligence Analyst with the Unique Mission Cell (“UMC”) for six years. The UMC develops and deploys new technology to support the U.S. Army. In his role with the UMC, Graeme utilized new technologies to lead substantial threat emulation experiments and facilitated cross functional exercises with engineers, computer network specialists and law enforcement personnel to address emerging threats. He then served as commercial counsel at a leading SaaS technology company, offering comprehensive legal support navigating the entire contract lifecycle. This included reviewing and negotiating data privacy and security addenda and data privacy agreements related to international and healthcare related regulations. Graeme's operational and transactional experience provides him unique insights into risk mitigation strategies and project management – key skillsets for assisting our clients in responding to data security incidents. Graeme earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science at George Washington University and a Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School.
