Constangy Cyber Team member, Dafina Buçaj, will present at the State Bar of Nevada's 2023 Intellectual Property Conference on October 13th. This all-day event will be held at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
Dafina will speak at two of the conference's sessions. She will serve as panelist for 'Artificial Intelligence Use of AI in the Legal Profession: Professional, Ethical, and Security Concerns' and will moderate 'Navigating the Shifting Terrain of Data Privacy and Cybersecurity: Staying Ahead of the Curve.'
Dafina is a seasoned Cybersecurity and Data Privacy attorney, working out of Constangy's Los Angeles office. Her practice is dedicated to guiding clients through the intricate realm of regulatory compliance, including developing information security and privacy policies, managing data collection procedures, conducting vendor risk assessments, and drafting and reviewing contracts. She has served in several prominent legal positions for the Government of Kosovo, including as Legal Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice and as a Legal Professional working with international organizations (OSCE, UNDP, USAID). She is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US) as certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
