National labor and employment law firm Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP is pleased to announce Joseph Mackey has joined the firm’s Jacksonville office.
Mackey counsels clients regarding day-to-day employment decisions and issues, such as employee policies, discipline, terminations, severance, and disability accommodations. He also represents employers before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Mackey has experience in the financial, health care, public sector, and retail and hospitality industries. With respect to his experience in the retail and hospitality industry, he draws on real-world knowledge, having worked in the restaurant industry starting at age sixteen. This provides him with first-hand insight to better advise clients.
Prior to joining Constangy, Mackey worked for an Am Law 200 firm, where he gained valuable defense litigation experience.
