Constangy, Brooks, Smith and Prophete, LLP is pleased to welcome Darrick McDuffie to the firm’s Atlanta office.
McDuffie comes to Constangy from King & Spaulding. His practice focuses primarily on litigation and workplace investigations involving discrimination and harassment allegations, collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and client counseling to limit exposure to litigation in these and other areas of employment law, such as issues arising under the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act. McDuffie has held leadership positions with the Atlanta Bar Association, the Gate City Bar association and the National Bar Association, and is also active in the American Bar Association and the American Bar Foundation. He received his J.D. from Harvard University.
Constangy also welcomed three new associates who have recently joined the firm’s Boston, Los Angeles and Macon offices
Laura Moisin has joined the firm’s Boston office, after spending several years at the general practice litigation firm of Gesmer Updegrove, where she represented clients in discrimination, wage dispute and other employment matters, in both federal and state courts, as well as in various administrative agencies. She received her J.D. from Suffolk University.
Sydney Wright has joined Constangy’s Los Angeles office. She comes to the firm from Skadden Arps, where she represented clients from a wide range of industries in commercial, securities, and other corporate litigation. She received her J.D. from Loyola University, Los Angeles.
Amanda Morejon has joined the firm’s Macon office. She comes to Constangy after serving on the in-house legal team of a leading Social Security disability service advisor. She advises clients on a issues including hiring and termination, disability and leave issues and related employment policies and practices. She received her J.D. from Mercer University.
