The team was selected as a finalist in the Cyber Insurance Incident Response of the Year and Cyber Law Firm of the Year categories. In addition, Sean Hoar, Cyber Team Chair, was nominated for Cyber Legend, and Alyssa Watzman, Cyber Team Vice Chair, was nominated for Rising Star in Cyber Insurance.

Intelligent Insurer's inaugural Cyber Insurance Awards USA 2024 aims to recognize and reward the outstanding achievements of individuals and companies dedicated to raising the standards of cyber risk management. A panel of expert cyber industry judges will evaluate each finalist and announce the winners on July 31st.

Twice honored with the Director’s Award, Sean is recognized as one of the top data breach response lawyers in the U.S. He holds certifications as a GISP, CISSP, and CIPP/US. As Chair of the Constangy Cyber Team, he manages complex data breaches and advises on mitigating cyber risks.

Alyssa Watzman, Vice Chair of the Constangy Cyber Team, has over five years of experience in managing data security incidents and mitigating cyber risks. She has provided incident response services to hundreds of clients across various industries and works closely with cyber insurance carriers. Alyssa also offers proactive data privacy resources and training, leveraging her background in civil litigation and regulatory investigations. She facilitates digital forensics, network restoration, and ransom negotiations while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Alyssa is a frequent speaker on cyber insurance, data privacy, security, and risk mitigation.
