Overview
Seth Greenwald is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Austin, Texas. As a member of our rapid response team, Seth assists clients in responding to a variety of cyberattacks including ransomware, business email compromises, fraudulent wire transfers and ACH payments. In doing so, he helps deploy the necessary resources, such as digital forensics and network restoration services, to contain and remediate incidents. He also helps clients comply with state, federal and contractual consumer and regulatory notification obligations.
Seth earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law, where he distinguished himself as a Strauss Cyber Fellow and Strauss National Security Law Fellow. He also worked as Staff Editor for the Texas Review of Law & Politics and the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas & Energy Law. Additionally, Seth served as President of the Jewish Legal Society and while studying abroad his 3L year, co-founded Operation Manna, a non-governmental organization providing direct aid to displaced civilians due to the Israel-Hamas War. Prior to joining Constangy Seth worked for the Texas Office of the Attorney General as a Law Clerk in the Consumer Protection and Data Privacy Division. Prior to law school, Seth earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics cum laude from Brandeis University.
