We’re thrilled to announce exciting new additions to the Constangy Cyber Team, with three new partners and a law clerk. Each new team member brings unique experience and skills to our offices in Philadelphia, Chicago, and New York.
Bert Bender – Partner, Philadelphia
Bert Bender brings almost ten years of combined experience in litigation and managing responses to data privacy and security incidents. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and having served five years in the Marines, Bert understands the critical importance of risk mitigation and crisis management in responding to data privacy and security incidents. Joseph McNelis – Partner, Philadelphia
With a strong background in cyber litigation, Joseph McNelis will assist clients in managing the legal complexities of class action lawsuits arising from data breaches. Joe has acted as incident response counsel in more than 150 cybersecurity incidents, advising on compliance with state and federal consumer protection laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Nicholas Daly – Partner, Chicago
Nicholas Daly has more than 15 years of experience managing complex litigation matters on behalf of cyber insurers and mitigating third party liability. At Constangy, Nick will focus on mitigating client liability in his management of responses to a variety of data privacy and security incidents, including deploying and managing forensics investigations, network restoration projects, and threat actor communication. Ansley Bryan – Law Clerk, New York
Ansley Bryan just passed the New York Bar Exam after earning her law degree from the Boston College Law School. Ansley served in a number of cybersecurity positions while in law school, and brings fresh insight and enthusiasm to our team. She will be supporting our attorneys on a range of cybersecurity and privacy matters, and contributing to our mission to provide exceptional client service.
