Overview

Katie concentrates her practice in the area of workers’ compensation defense, representing employers, insurers, and self-insured clients in workers’ compensation matters throughout the state of Georgia. 

Katie and began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge John M. Ott in the Alcovy Judicial Circuit. After completing her two-year clerkship, Katie transitioned to civil practice in 2007 and began practicing in the area of workers’ compensation with another Atlanta law firm.

In 2015, Katie joined Constangy, where her practice continues to focus on defending employers, insurers, and self-insured clients in workers’ compensation matters throughout the State of Georgia. She has experience handling all aspects of both litigated and non-litigated cases and defending claims from hearing through the appeals process. Katie is admitted to practice before all Georgia State and Superior courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar. Katie has received an AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating.
